عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرُ، يَقُولُ: مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟

Meaning:
On the authority of Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه
that the Messenger of Allahu tawala صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Our Lord, blessed and exalted be He, descends every night to the nearest sky of the world when the last third of the night remains, saying: ‘Who will call upon Me that I will answer him? Who will ask Me that I will give him? Who will seek My forgiveness that I will forgive him?’ ”
