عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «تُنْكَحُ المَرْأَةُ لِأَرْبَعٍ: لِمَالِهَا وَلِحَسَبِهَا وَجَمَالِهَا وَلِدِينِهَا، فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ، تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ
صحيح متفق عليه
Meaning:
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. So marry the one who is religiously committed, and may your hands be blessed.
